Sometimes, it takes a couple of tries until you find the artist you feel fits best for your important day, which is what lead Jessica to me. It feels good when everyone in the family is pleased with your work and puts their full trust in you. Every makeup job that comes along, it becomes clearer and clearer as to what makes me the artist I am. It’s very settling but motivating at the same time to push me to be better and continue to work at my craft.
To Jessica and her family, thank you for trusting me to take care of you guys on this special day <3
Jessica had some showers and although I wasn’t there to see how the photographers and videographers handled the weather, I’m sure they all still did a wonderful job capturing her day. Jessica’s a laid back bride so she didn’t let some rain ruin her mood!
Natalia, dolled up the others and did a fabulous job. I wish I had those photos but will post when I get access to group shots :). Thank you for being on board with me, Nat!
Kelly Heyn, an outstanding event planner, and owner of Socialife ran the day. This boss lady is one of the best planners out there. Throw any curve ball at her and she’ll hit that bad boy out of the park for sure. She’s handled events from all different sizes, encountered many roadblocks in a day but somehow manages to stay cool calm and collective, coming up with resolutions like “no big deal.” Everyone needs a Kelly for their events. Unfortunately, there’s only one of her haha.
Below are shots of the beauties. Unfortunately, I missed photographing the bride’s mom! For Jessica, we didn’t want to give her a 360 transformation. We just wanted her to look like her very best self, as a handful of brides do. Note to self: not everyone wants a beat face.
