BOBBY AND THE BRIDE
December 23, 2014

Lucky little me got to do a campaign shoot with Bobby and the Bride –  a hair design company that travels on location for weddings / events, which was founded by Shana DeAndrea and Christina Aprile. You can see more of their amazing work on Facebook and Instagram.  The shoot was located  in Hoboken which happens to be Clifton Prescod’s new studio space (congrats Cliff!y!).

We had a full staff on board and it was pretty eventful not just because shoots are always fun to me but because it was my first shoot with this many people. The more the merrier! We had….

1 Photographer- Clifton Prescod
1 Digital tech- Dane Brown
2 Assistants – Demetrius Philp
1 videographer. – Jarred McGriff
4 Models- Dailyn Santana, Julie Gulemi, Johanna Calabrese, Lauren Bonner
2 Makeup Artists- Cristie Marie and Myself
3 Hairstylists- Shana DeAndrea, Christina Aprile, Tiff
1 Manicurist- Kay Louro

The models looked so cute with their hair pinned up. Makeup pretty much stayed the same for the entire shoot (just touch ups). We were going for the bridal look (obviously) Neutral and a clean face. I used NARS illuminator in 413 BLK (its like a liquid) to highlight certain areas (cheek bones / bridge) on my two girls. SIDE NOTE L Laura Mercier has a highlighting powder which I absolutely love but have yet to purchase. I will link it when I get the name and color. A fellow makeup artist I worked alongside had it and it looks beautiful on everyone.

The atmosphere of the shoot wasn’t hectic. You would think it would be with the amount of people but we all knew our roles and we made deadline. Can I  just say, the music was also bumpin’. Shout out to Clif for the tracks even though Jarred tried to take credit for it!  I always love working with these people because of their spirit, their energy and their hearts. I’ve worked with Shana and Clif the past 2-3 years and have been fortunate and blessed to be around such amazing people. I’m so happy I got to be a part of this project and wish Bobby and the Bride nothing but even more success, as well as everyone else who took part in the shoot. <3

Heres a final cut, the 2 beauties I did along with  behind the scenes. (some photos jacked from peoples IG. Thanks guys!)
