To have a client with the same name as mine is definitely a first! I must say, exchanging e-mails was kind of funny to me. Greeting, “Hello Monica” and ending the note on a “Sincerely, Monica” made me chuckle a bit- hah!
Monica had a beautiful and warm October day. It was probably not something she expected (or any of us expected) when she decided on this date. Fall weddings come with beautiful foliage and crisp air that unfortunately, we did not have that day. I have two word for that though: Global and Warming (that’s a whole other conversation). Needless to say, some things are out of our control and I have no doubt the photos from her day came out beautiful. It barely phased her. Better to have a hot October day than a hurricane, right?
Monica was such a chill bride and probably one of the easiest people I’ve worked with. Honestly, if something crazy happened, like someone forgetting to bring her ring, I don’t think she would fret! With that said, her day was as smooth as butter. She also happens to be the sister-in-law to another bride I had done, Cara (you can find her in my portfolio of weddings). Cara is an old co worker who I was so happy to see and work on again! She is also a Mom to a beautiful blue eyed munchkin who’s birthday happened to land on this wedding day 🙂 Familiar faces always brings a sense of comfort to the wedding day.
Monica, I hope you had a wonderful honeymoon. It was a great pleasure working with you and thank you for sending me such kind words after your wedding. It meant the world <3
